Day 01 DENPASAR/BALI - BANYUWANGI/EAST JAVA
Pick you up from your Hotel in Bali then drive to west coast of Bali to across Bali strait by ferry for 45 minutes. Arrive in small town of Banyuwangi then proceed to Ijen Resort & Villas, for your luxurious accommodation perched at the edge of the rain forest in the foothills of the volcanoes. Stay overnight in mountain tranquility.
Day 02 IJEN CRATER – BANYUWANGI/CITY TOUR
Early wake-up call. After breakfast at the hotel drive to the village of Licin and then drive to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rain forest. This is one of the few left in the island of Java with giant ferns and big trees. Pause at the Park Rangers post before hiking further up to the slope of the crater. About one hour and a half to two hours is needed to ascend the rim of the crater along a shady track with amazing views. Take a rest on the edge of the crater at 2883 meter altitude. The sulfuric lake reflects eerie color over the surrounding walls to give an apocalypse like impression. Men seeking sulfur descend into the crater and climb back up along the dangerous rim with loads of up to 80 kilos on their shoulder. The crater observation will take at leisure. Afterwards drive down back to Banyuwangi town for your accommodation. Lunch will be served at local restaurant and there is chance to do city tour by Becak (Pedi-cab). Stay overnight and take dinner in Banyuwangi town area.
Day 03 HOTEL - MUNCAR - MOUNT BROMO
After breakfast in your hotel Leaving for Muncar, the most crowded and animated traditional fishing port in Java then drive to Kalibaru, the region of beautiful plantations (coffee, rubber and cacao). Proceed to Jember for Lunch in a local restaurant and then drive on to Mount Bromo. Stay over night and take dinner in Hotel Mount Bromo Area.
Day 04 MOUNTAIN BROMO - DENPASAR/BALI
Wake-up call at early morning, then Leaving the hotel for Mount Bromo to see sunrise by crossing the caldera to get to the feet of Mount Bromo and then by horse or simply by walk climbing up track. The spectacular chain volcanoes (Bromo, Batok, and Semeru) are unveiling itself in a magnificent view. After the observation, we will drive back to the hotel for breakfast and then departure to Denpasar. Arrive in Denpasar/Bali in the evening.
