Tour Itenary : Day 01 PANGKALAN BUN – TANJUNG PUTING PARK NATIONAL - RIMBA LODGE / BOAT (L,D)
Fly from Semarang to Pangkalanbun by IAT AIR at 10.10am, than upon arrival at Pangkalanbun Airport, you will be picked up by our local guide or staff and take Kumai to board on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat about 6m by 2m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat or at rimba lodge. There is as simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen. Day 02 TANJUNG HARAPAN – JUNGLE TENT - RIMBA LODGE / BOAT (B,L,D)
Start in the morning for fullday trek from Tanjung harapan rehabilitation, accompanied with ranger. On the way will searching and observe wildlife, ( the forest you will pass mostly is second grow forest but quite interesting). Lunch will be serve in the forest. Set the tend for overnight. Dinner and overnight in the forest, Rimba Lodge or on the boat. Day 03 JUNGLE - PONDOK TANGGUY – CAMP LEAKEY – RIMBA LODGE / BOAT (B,L,D)
After breakfast, enjoying the forest surrounding then continuing trek to Pondok Tanggui, around noon you will get Pondok Tanggui ( second rehabilitation for Orangutan ) then board the klotok to travel up river for about 1 and half hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rainforest. Witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. Overnight at rimba lodge or on the boat . Day 04 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK – CAMP LEAKEY – BOAT / RIMBA LODGE (B,L,D)
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife, wild orangutan, birds and other primate as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. Overnight at rimba lodge or on the boat . Day 05 CAMP LEAKEY - RIMBA LODGE / BOAT (B,L,D)
Second visit to Camp leakey, take other spot for trekking search for wildlife.( Most camp leakey forest area still very good ) overnight at Rimba Lodge or on the boat. Day 06 BOAT / RIMBA LODGE – KUMAI – AIRPORT - SEMARANG (B)
After breakfast at lodge/boat, than cruise down the river by boat to Kumai, than transfer to Airport for next flight.
