Tour Itenary : Day 01 BALIKPAPAN AIRPORT - LODGE - ORANGUTAN ISLAND - SUN BEAR SANCTUARY - BLACK RIVER - SAMBOJA LODGE ( LD)
Upon arrival at Balikpapan International Airport, meeting service with our guide /staff than transfer for an house drive to Samboja Lodge. Check in at Samboja Lodge in to your beautifull room. Lunch will be serving at lodge. In the afternoon visit the Orangutan Island around the lodge area where you may see the orangutan in the rehabilitation center taking care with the Samboja Lestari in the areal 2000 hectars re-forestation programm than continue visit Black river where you may see the proboscis monkeys, birds, and others borneo creature's. Return to the lodge, Dinner and overnight at Samboja Lodge. Day 02 SAMBOJA LODGE - SUNGAI WAIN PRIMARY RAINFOREST TREEKING - SAMBOJA LODGE (BLD)
Early morning, drive to Sungai wain area, than treeking into the borneo rainforest to explore the wild orangutan, birds, and many huge tree's in the forest. In the afternoon return to Samboja Lodge. Lunch will be provided, dinner will be serving and overnight at Lodge. Day 03 SAMBOJA LODGE - LOAJANAN - MAHAKAM RIVER (BLD)
Breakfast at lodge, than drive to Loajanan for 2,5 hours than boarding into your houseboat. Starting your unforgetable journey along the mighty river of Mahakam. Lunch, dinner and overnight on the boat. Enjoying the sunset fall down with refresment on the boat. Cruise up the river for about 15 to 16 hours nonstop to reach Muara Muntai. Day 04 MUARA MUNTAI - MANCONG - MINTA VILLAGE - MAHAKAM RIVER (BLD)
Breakfast on boat, then sightseeing the village of Muara Muntai, see the old road made from iron wood and local people life. Than continue your journey by motorized canoe to visit Mancong. Passing the Jempang lake, and Jantur fisherman villae, as well as Ohong village, and along the trip, perhap you may see the proboscis monkeys, birds, etc. Upon arrival at Mancong Dayak Banuaq tribe will performed the welcome ceremony in the front of their longhouse. Lunchbox provided and afterward return to Muara Muntai. Than cruise up the river to melak. Stop at minta village to observing the local kutai people to make the brown sugar from the palm trees. Dinner and overnight on boat. Day 05 MELAK - PEPAS EHENG VILLAGE - TERING - HUDOQ DANCE KENYAH TRIBE (BLD)
Breakfast on boat, the sightseeing the Melak. Than by car visitng the Pepas Eheng village, where you may see the traditional longhouse and royal cemetery of Banuaq/Tunjung tribe. Than continue your trip to visit Tering village where may see the Hudoq Dance by Kenyah Dayak tribe with long Ears and tattoes, will performance traditional dances with several local Kenyah dancers in the village for ritual dance for asking the good harvest of the rice-filds in their villages. Meass will be provided on boat. Dinner and overnight on boat. Late afternoon/evening cruise down river to Tenggarong. Day 06 TENGGARONG - LOAJANAN - BALIKPAPAN (B,L)
Arrival in Tenggarong, breakfast on boat, than visit the Museum of Mulawarman kingdom see the collection of Sultan Kutai and the Royal Tomb, ceramic from several dinasty, statue of Old Hindu. Lunch will be serving on boat. Cruise down river to Loajanan. Than transfer to Balikpapan for your accomodation. Dinner is not included. Day 07 HOTEL - BALIKPAPAN - NEXT DESTINATION (B)
Breakfast at hotel. free at your own leisure until we transfer to Airport for your next destination.
